The University Administration wishes to inform all fresh undergraduate and postgraduate students, faculty and staff, that the 2025 Matriculation Ceremony has been scheduled as follows:
Matriculation Ceremony Details
Date: Thursday, November 27, 2025
Venue: University Amphitheatre
Time:
Undergraduates: 7:00 a.m. - 10:00a.m.
Postgraduates: 10:00 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
1. Mandatory Attendance:
All fresh students are required to participate in the matriculation ceremony as it marks their formal admission into the University.
2. Seating Time:
All students must be seated at least one hour before their scheduled ceremony time to allow for proper organization and academic procession.
Undergraduates seated by 6:00 a.m. Postgraduates seated by 9:00a.m.
3. Academic Gown Collection:
Students are expected to collect their academic gowns from the Gown Room at Amphitheatre on Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am-4pm, and return them immediately after the ceremony. Penalty will apply for late return or damage.
4. Parents/Guardians:
A designated seating area will be provided for parents and guardians. Everyone is encouraged to arrive early.
5. Photography:
Official photographers will be available. Personal photography is permitted only in designated areas to avoid disruption.
6. Dress Code:
Students are advised to dress formally and in accordance with University standards.
