As part of the strategic moves to enhance Babcock University’s research capacity, the University held Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) training course for strategic faculty and staff.
The training was designed to help participants on how to navigate and confidently make entries on both the REDCap web-based platform and the REDCap mobile application, execute hands-on exercises and manage real-time data capture, execute hands-on exercises and manage real-time data capture, edit and resolve data queries following system report generations and run basic troubleshooting protocols directly on the REDCap mobile and web applications.
The training was anchored by the office of Research, Innovation and International Collaboration (RIIC), headed by Prof Foluso Ojewole. Participants at the event were the Provost, Benjamin S. Carson Snr. College of Health and Medical Sciences (BCCHMS), Prof. Adeola Fowotade, the immediate past provost of BCCHMS, Prof John Stunsa, Head of the Department of Computer Science, Dr Seun Ebiesuwa, officials from RIIC office, among others.
