Being part of the strategic effort to ensure that the GRACE Mandate of the University’s researched focused and entrepreneurial community is executed, officials of the University led by the Director, SIWES and Academic Policy Implementation; Dr. Obinna Okoro visited the Air Officer Commanding Logistics Command, Nigerian Air Force and the 661 Nigerian Air Force Hospital at the Air Force Base, Ikeja, Lagos.
The Air Officer Commanding Logistics Command, Nigerian Air Force, Air Vice Marshall A.A. Suleh and The Commander, 661 Nigerian Air Force Hospital, Air Commodore A.S. Oyenusi received the BU team with warm reception. The cardinal focus of the visit centers on student internship and clinical training, staff exchange and capacity building, research and joint academic projects and joint community service.
Air Vice Marshall A.A. Suleh was elated to receive the team and he gave his blessings for collaboration as Air Commodore A.S. Oyenusi led the visiting team to a tour of the facility and promised to ensure that the essence of the visit is realized. During the tour, the team met with some Babcock greats working as staff at various capacities within the NAF facility. A leader in the team Prof Olugbenga Adebawo thanked the officers for the reception and promised to ensure accurate feedback to the University administration.
