Mr. Akinmade Adepoju is a distinguished Nigerian academic and researcher specializing in maternal and child health. He is affiliated with Babcock University in Ilishan Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria, where he contributes to research in the Department of Community Medicine. ​One of his notable studies assessed the ability and safety of community-based health workers in initiating lifesaving therapies for pre-eclampsia in Ogun State, Nigeria. This research involved analyzing 260 community treatments with magnesium sulfate and/or methyldopa, providing valuable insights into task-shifting strategies in maternal healthcare.

In the realm of mental health, he has contributed to studies examining mental health distress and associated factors among HIV-positive adolescents attending ART clinics in Nigeria.
