Global Seed Education Delegates Visit Babcock University

Babcock University is poised to expand its international collaboration in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) as Seed Global Education, a multi-national firm visited last week.

Delegates of the firm which helps universities grow their international footprint by understanding their needs, were on the ground to engage the university on possible collaborations for strategic growth in STEM and other related areas.

The delegation comprised Directors of George Washington University’s School of Engineering and Applied Science, New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering, Boston University’s Graduate School of Arts and Science and Drexel University. 

While receiving the delegates on behalf of the President/Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ademola Tayo, Senior Vice President Academics, Professor Philemon Amanze thanked them for choosing to collaborate with Babcock and pledged to make the interaction impactful.

Earlier, the organization’s African Regional Director and Team lead, Jojo Quansah said he hoped the visit would provide collaborations and opportunity for panel discussions on topics such as, Global Careers in STEM for African Graduates: Unlocking Opportunities through Postgraduate Education.

In addition, he said he looked forward to interactions leading to a mini STEM Fair for students with future international aspirations.
