Twenty Babcock University Law graduates emerged first class following their brilliant performance at the Nigerian Law School 2023 Bar exams.
The number, the highest recorded in recent times by the University, represents 5 per cent of the total number of students who sat for the exams across different Law Schools in Nigeria.
It is not the first time Babcock graduates will stand out in the Bar exams. In 2021, 10 of the first class graduates were from Babcock including the overall best in the exams, Mayowa Abiru.
Similarly, in 2022 and 2023 respectively, BU Law students, Chisom Ofoma and Emmanuella Ekwale, received the Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (BOSAN) Scholar award for their outstanding performance in the BOSAN exams and character.
An elated President/Vice Chancellor, Professor Ademola Tayo, sent his congratulatory messages to the students and their lecturers for the feat.
